Waaree Energies Limited, one of India’s leading solar photovoltaic module manufacturers and EPC players, has secured multiple new orders, strengthening its position in the domestic renewable energy market amid rising demand for locally manufactured solar equipment.
The Gujarat-based company has received a 210 MW Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) solar module supply order from a reputed renewable energy developer in India. The order reflects continued momentum for domestically manufactured solar modules as India accelerates its clean energy and self-reliance initiatives.
Earlier, on January 9, 2026, Waaree Energies secured an additional 105 MW solar module supply order from another established customer. Both module supply contracts were booked in 2026, taking the company’s recently announced domestic module orders to 315 MW.
Waaree Energies currently has a global solar PV module manufacturing capacity of approximately 22.77 GW, along with around 5.4 GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity in India, The company continues to expand its manufacturing footprint to meet growing domestic and international demand.
In a parallel development, Waaree Group’s wholly owned subsidiary Waaree Solar Americas Inc. received an order on January 19, 2026, for the supply of 2,000 MW of solar modules from a renowned customer in the United States. The customer is a leading developer and owner-operator of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the country, further strengthening Waaree’s presence in the North American market.
Additionally, another Waaree subsidiary, Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), has secured an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for a 10 MW / 14 MWp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project in Uttar Pradesh. The project, valued at approximately ₹37.96 crore, will be executed on a turnkey basis and is scheduled for completion during FY 2026–27.
Waaree has executed over 3.95 GW of ground-mounted solar projects globally, while its current EPC bidding and project pipeline stands at approximately 27 GWp, according to the company.
The latest project wins further strengthen Waaree Group’s integrated presence across solar manufacturing, EPC services, and project execution, supporting India’s ongoing solar capacity expansion and clean energy transition.
